The land on which we live, work and learn

Seeking knowledge in these territories

第一吃瓜网 is located in the City of Victoria on the southern tip of Vancouver Island. With deep respect and gratitude, 第一吃瓜网 acknowledges these as the Traditional Territories of the Esquimalt, Lekwungen (Esquimalt and Songhees), Malahat, Pacheedaht, Scia鈥檔ew, T鈥橲ou-ke and W瘫S脕NE膯 (Pauquachin, Tsartlip, Tsawout, Tseycum) peoples. Camosun learners, instructors, support staff and leadership are all enriched by the friendship and gracious welcome extended by our traditional hosts and by the beauty of the land on which we live, work and learn.

Natsamaht Indigenous place and Totem pole on campus

Resembling a huge cedar hat and perched on top of the slope overlooking Lansdowne Road, Na'tsa'maht is a gathering place. Na'tsa'maht, a Salish phrase, means "unity or working together as one".
